Recent Renovations of the White Turpin House
Local interior designer, Jan Yates, worked with the owners to create living areas that are intimate, classic, and casually elegant, yet fit the historic charm of the White Turpin House. Original hardwood floors, beautiful fireplace mantles, and exposed ax hewn beams give visitors a glimpse into this home's historic past.
The comfortable beds, Period sofas, chairs, and other furniture in this townhome are the perfect mix of antiques and reproductions. New drapes throughout the townhome were custom-made to fit the large windows, with matching bedroom comforters and decorative pillows to exude luxury. The decor includes a mix of antique and modern bathroom fixtures in both bathrooms. |

Modern ammenities were added for your convenience, including five flat-screen televisions which are situated throughout the townhome for our guest's viewing pleasure. High-speed Internet and DirecTV is available and Free to all guests. We have also included an iPod docking station. A full laundry room was added and modern appliances in the renovated kitchen.
The owner's went to great expense to provide onsite parking, next to
the townhome for our guest's convenience. On-street parking is also temporarily
available for your visiting guests.
Other added extras include a custom wood white picket fence, which completely encloses the front yard, solid concrete steps leading up the the turn-of-the-century veranda, which is adorned with comfortable wicker outdoor furniture and local plants and stretches the entire length of the townhouse.
The enclosed grassy backyard is ideal for a small group gathering, family cookout, or even backyard sports like vollyball or badminton.
